Events in 2020 including the pandemic and war in Artsakh inspired and prompted founders Lilit and Nishan Odabashian to create the Facebook group BUY ARMENIAN which morphed into a strong community of 50k+ members within a short period of time. Subsequently, that very same page inspired this online marketplace. The notion of helping and supporting the motherland, Armenia, in any way possible, was not something new for the Odabashians. They focused their time, energy and resources in creating the project and bringing it into reality. It may have been unfortunate circumstances that started this venture, but the Odabashians, along with their Buy Armenian Online Marketplace team, firmly believe that it is an absolute necessity for the diaspora and the motherland to work hand in hand to promote the Armenia Brand and bring prosperity to Armenia.
