  • Armenian Argan Oil

Over the centuries, Argan oil extracted from fruits of Argan tree (aka Argania Spinosa) has been much appreciated by the Berber tribes in Morocco. Due to its cosmetic properties, the primary use that people gave to Argan oil was as a skin protector from the ultra-dry climate. At the beginning of the 90’s, the tree that gives the fruits of which we extracted the oil of Argan was almost extinct. Due to all the properties beneficial to health and its immense history, in 1999 UNESCO recognized the Argan tree as a world heritage.
The oil of the Argan tree works wonders (antioxidizing, beauty-and-health-rejuvenating), which would seem too good to be true if they didn’t have real science backing them up.

    ‣ Treats bronchitis and cough
    ‣ Lowers blood pressure and cholesterol

Thyme has been known since ancient times for its magical, culinary, and medicinal virtues. Tradition held that an infusion of thyme taken as a tea on midsummer’s eve would enable one to see the fairies dancing. Young women wore a corsage of blossoming thyme to signal their availability for romance. The generic name may have been inspired by one of thyme’s traditional attributes. Greek folk herbalists believed that thyme would impart courage (thumus in Greek) to those who used the herb, particularly soldiers. Greek men particularly liked the pungent scent of thyme and would rub the herb on their chests. The Romans believed that adding thyme to bath water would impart energy. They also included thyme in bedding to chase melancholy and to prevent nightmares.

The strong scent of thyme was employed as a moth repellent, and burned as fumigating incense. The philosopher-herbalist Pliny the Elder recommended burning the dried herb in the house to “put to flight all venomous creatures.” In the kitchen thyme has been used for centuries to season sauces, soups, stuffing, and soups. Thyme has long been recognized for its antiseptic properties. The Egyptians used the herb in formulas for embalming the dead. The herb was among those burned in sickrooms to help stop the spread of disease. Oil of thyme was used on surgical dressings and in times of war as recently as World War I, to treat battle wounds.

  • Decolorized Iodine

Decolorized iodine, also known as colorless or white iodine, has a wide variety of applications and boasts remarkable benefits.
Antiseptic: Like the traditional orange-brown iodine, white iodine can be used as an antiseptic applied topically. Unlike traditional iodine, it will not stain skin or clothes. Put two to three drops of white iodine on a cotton ball and apply to cuts and burns to ward off infection.

Nail Treatment: Our white iodine can be used to improve weak, brittle fingernails. It is applied on the tip of the nail (not the nail bed) and the underside of the nail tip. Improvement typically appears after one to two weeks.

Hair Treatment: Our white iodine can be used topically as a treatment for alopecia areata, a condition associated with hair loss. Apply white iodine once a day to the affected area. Results typically appear within two to six weeks.

Nutritional Supplement: Iodine is essential to human biology and can be provided only through diet. Our food grade white iodine is used as a dietary supplement to regulate metabolism and treat thyroid deficiencies by stimulating the production of T3 (triiodothyronine) and T4 (thyroxine) hormones. Symptoms of iodine deficiency are weight gain, sensitivity to temperature changes and sluggishness.
