Armenian Translation of “Here, In Yerevan” by Yan Shenkman
Here In Yerevan is a book of bitter and funny stories about emigration, Armenia, and war, built on personal experience and connected by one lyrical protagonist. In December 2024, the Armenian translation of Yan Shenkman’s Here in Yerevan was published by ARI Press. Originally it was written in Russian and was published earlier in 2024. But after the great success of the book there was an evident necessity to translate the book into Armenian. And as Yan mentions in his speech, it is not a translation into a foreign language, but into the language it should have been written and read in.

“Heroism Of Living”
Seda Vardanyan is a psychologist, Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). “Heroism of living. Flowers of Life from the Battlefield” is the first book she authored.
What is the meaning of my life? What do I feel when I face the difficulty, war ? What thoughts and ideas do pervade me? How can we overcome the situation and live effectively? The answers to these questions are given by psychological analysis of the real short stories of the author, the recruit, the young officer, the volunteer, the disabled soldier and the killed soldier.
The book is a unique meeting and an honest dialogue with a psychologist, through which you will find answers to many questions and maybe you will look at life from another perspective.
This is a book that motivates you to live and grow.
The book has a charitable mission. When you buy a book, you donate one to the family of a killed soldier in the border region of Armenia. You can follow the book’s charity path on the Heroism of living page.$12.00“Heroism Of Living”

“Yugoslavia, My Fatherland” Goran Vojnovic
A brilliant, sharp and human story of common people and their tragical destiny after the Balkan wars in the nineties of the past century. The story is told in rich, fluent language and in conversational tone. It is an extremely well thought-out novel because the author knows the material, the ethnic and linguistic nuances and uses a lively sense of humour. It was awarded the Kresnik Prize for Novel of the Year in 2013.
