Dark Chia Seeds

Soaked chia slows digestion and increases the time it takes for your stomach to empty which means you feel full for longer. Soaking chia will activate the seed, making it more digestible for your body, helping to prevent blood sugar spikes, decreasing cholesterol and keeping you hydrated!
How to use:
First, wash your seeds! Just like lentils, grains and beans, chia seeds need to be washed! Leave them in water and let them soak and drain the debris away. Then place your chia seeds in a jar of water, shake for about 2-3 minutes and then let it sit in the refrigerator overnight. If you’re in a hurry, simply swish the chia and water around in a jar (sealed) for about 5 minutes and let it sit for another 5-10 minutes and you should have a good gel-like consistency.
