A game set for celebrating baby’s 1st tooth.
The collection includes the following:
– A booklet containing brief description of the Atamhatik tradition
– 16 wooden tiles symbolizing different professions
– A silk scarf with Armenian patterns to fill with beads
– A backpack with an Armenian ornament
The ornament, which is the main symbol of this set, is from a pillowcase designed in the 19th century and exhibited in Dzitoghtsonts House-Museum.
The three patterns on the headscarf are based on imagery from Armenian traditional clothing, and chosen for their symbolism. Wheat stem, water and apple symbolize fertility, love, joy, knowledge, wisdom.
