Artsakh region, especially Karavajar village, is famous for its variety of flowers and wild and untouched nature. And it’s no coincidence that some of the best honey, especially raw honey, is made here. The benefits of honey are numerous: along with its nutritious value, honey is rich in antioxidants, improves your heart health, and may suppress cough. Plus, it’s much healthier than sugar in your diet. However, not all the honey is good for you, as many beekeepers add sugar to the bee’s diet, which in turn makes honey contain sugar. The sugar in honey highly decreases its quality and benefits.
Go Green Armenia has ensured that its raw honey is of the highest quality, and you enjoy only the best honey, along with all its health perks. Our bees have zero sugar in their diet and produce the purest honey that has the best aroma from the unique blend of wildflowers that grow in the mountains of Artsakh.
Our honey is also EU & USDA organic certified to reassure you that you are getting the purest and most healthy honey out there.
How to use
There are numerous ways you can introduce honey into your life. You can add it to your tea, have it with a toast of bread, or simply a teaspoon in the morning. You can also use honey in cooking and baking, as it’s a very common ingredient in many recipes.
In case you have a cough, a cup of warm milk with honey will alleviate the severity of the cough and relieve some pain.
A couple of things to remember about how to store honey.
You should always store it in a glass container and away from direct sunlight. You should also keep it out of reach of small children, as it’s considered an allergen. Plus, children under 3 years of age should not consume honey.
Do not add honey to boiling hot tea, milk, or any other extremely hot substances, as it releases a toxin.
