Meet our tricolor! Since we started this business we knew we are going to create it and it had to be much more than a simple combination of red, blue, and orange. It had to be something conceptually compelling reflecting the beauty, complexity, and spirit of our Homeland. On the eve of the 30^th anniversary of the independence of Armenia, we are launching this collection and there is only one way to name it – INDEPENDENCE. We have chosen a square-shaped mold to denote building blocks and the stability of the foundation. The selected shape however has rounded edges and a dimple on the top surface creating a playful association of fruitiness. For the base flavors, we decided to go with the zingy tanginess of 3 berries perfectly matching the colors of our flag – raspberries, blueberries and sea buckthorn. The sharpness of our berries is harmoniously matched with the sweetness and slight bitterness of the caramel cream and chocolate. To round up the balance of flavors we included a surprise salty element. You will find two or three grains of coarse salt inside dimples on each bonbon. With a single bite, you will start a journey of flavor and texture contrasts, the crunchiness of salt grains will be washed away by the silkiness of the ganache, the acidity of the berries will be balanced with the sweatiness of caramel with the rich taste of chocolate lingering on your tongue.
