No Week Without Matevossian

“Not a Week Without Poetry,” a project initiated by “Zangak” publishing house in 2017, continues its journey through the realms of Armenian literature. Starting with collections highlighting milestones in contemporary poetry (2017) and classical Armenian poetry (2018), and celebrating the jubilee of Hovhannes Tumanyan (2019), the project now presents “Not a Week Without Hrant Matevosyan.” Marking the 85th anniversary of the esteemed Armenian novelist, this selection maintains the familiar structure of previous editions, featuring sections for each day of the week, notes, and literary excerpts. The book includes excerpts from Matevosyan’s extensive body of work, along with interviews, essays, prefaces, and articles from various publications that contribute to his creative legacy.
