Armenecoop Women Social Enterprise

Armenecoop was created to support a socially vulnerable group—unemployed women aged 20-30, primarily mothers with young children, from socially disadvantaged families in the Dilijan consolidated community.

Each year, we recruit 20 women from this group and provide free sewing classes. Importantly, we also offer care and entertainment for their children while the women are participating in training or working in the production part of the organization. This initiative creates a unique opportunity for these women to gain education and work while caring for their children.

Our Products

We produce two types of products: innovative pencil rolls and tote bags. Our pencil rolls are a unique creation—practical, eco-friendly, and made of waterproof fabric and wood. They are lightweight, colorful, and designed for easy visibility and convenience. They have quickly gained popularity, and our pencil rolls are the only foreign product featured in Nemad ESKI, a social concept store in Tbilisi that showcases products from Georgian social enterprises.

Our tote bags are designed with a zippered pocket, making it possible to carry everything in one bag, eliminating the need for a separate purse. These bags are durable—there’s no shrinkage after washing, and the prints don’t fade. We take great pride in the quality of our products.

Our tote bags also serve as unique souvenirs for both domestic and international tourists visiting Dilijan. We have a special series that showcases the town’s landmarks and cultural highlights. These bags feature phrases such as:

• “I should go to Dilijan and eat cooked corn on the switchbacks.”

• “I should go to Dilijan, simply sit down, and enjoy the fresh air.”

• “I should go to Dilijan to relax, drink tea, and disconnect from the world.”

Our products are the first of their kind to carry the “Made in Dilijan” label. As a tourist destination, Dilijan attracts thousands of visitors each year who are eager to purchase locally made items, and this label assures them of the authenticity and local origin of our products.
