Colorful copper brooch made from a real oak leaf.
Natural oak leaf is plated with copper by electroforming method. Being preserved for ever in a metal layer, the leaf is both lightweight and strong. We used a lasting rainbow gradient patina to tint the brooch. Also, it is sealed with transparent protective varnish to prevent the oxidizing and change of color.
The brooch is suitable for thick fabrics, e.g. denim, thick knitting, tweed.
