The Meaning of the Forget-Me-Not Flower: The name Forget-Me-Not carries the same meaning of “Remember” in various languages. In the Middle Ages, it was also seen as a symbol of God’s presence.

The Forget-Me-Not is a significant emblem marking the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Designed in 2015, it has become a symbol of remembrance used widely in Armenia, the Armenian diaspora, and among supporters of the cause. The flower’s five petals represent the five regions of the world where Armenians were dispersed after the Genocide, many fleeing to safety.

While the Forget-Me-Not is traditionally depicted in blue, the version symbolizing the Armenian Genocide is portrayed in purple. Each color in the emblem holds deep significance:
