Nativity and Theophany ․ Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem, Location: Cilicia, 13th century.

The miniature icons are painted with modern tempera paints, on recycled wood, measuring 30x42x3cm. We used shiny gold leaf (imitation) and varnish to preserve traditional medieval methods. While it is possible to substitute the types of materials, we maintain the skills and traditional rules of miniature art.
