Fig Molasses
In Armenia, to make fig molasses fresh figs are cooked in copper kettles, reducing them to less than half their original volume. The fruit is separated from the syrup, leaving a concentrated, thick, sweet molasses. Drizzle it onto yoghurt, atop pancakes, over oatmeal.
