St. Gregory of Narek: Yerevan Matenadaran, manuscript number 1568, Monastery of Skevra (Cilicia) by Grigor Mlichetsi, 1173.
The miniature icons are painted with modern tempera paints, on recycled wood, measuring 30x42x3cm. We used shiny gold leaf (imitation) and varnish to preserve traditional medieval methods.
While it is possible to substitute the types of materials, we maintain the skills and traditional rules of miniature art.
