About Armenian Alphabet

The Armenian alphabet (Armenian: ????? ????, Hayots’ grer or ????? ????????, Hayots’ aybuben) is an alphabetic writing system used to write Armenian. Mesrop Mashtots, an Armenian linguist and ecclesiastical leader, developed it around 405 AD. The system originally had 36 letters; eventually, three more adopted later.
