Decorative Scarf “Dialogue” (70 x 70 cm)

A unique collection of scarves with female images by contemporary Armenian artists from around the world.
The project involves artists not only from Armenia, but also from Brazil, Iran, and Portugal.

The packaging is also unique. Unusual triangular boxes, reminiscent of school love triangles-notes. In such packaging, the scarf is a message to a loved one. The cardboard of the packaging is palpably reminiscent of an eggshell. This is a tribute to the unique Svan seagull. Another symbol of the unique reality of Armenia.

Based on the original painting “Dialogue” by the famous Armenian artist Valentina Martirosyan.

In the picture we see a lonely female figure in the space of an ordinary interior. The heroine, with her head bowed, reinterprets her own experiences. She is filled with peace and tranquility, but at the same time with a feeling of loneliness and melancholy, which so often arises in a person’s soul during a conversation with herself.

“It is no coincidence that I stopped at the title “Dialogue”. A monologue is a person’s speech, one speaks, the others listen, but do not answer. A dialogue is a conversation in which two or more people participate, its main condition is several points of view, sometimes a clash of many opinions. The picture depicts this very moment of communication with herself.

The vertical rhythms and accents of different shades of blue and white penetrate the girl’s figure from all sides for a reason: all our attention is focused on the inner self-reflection of the heroine, we are only accidental witnesses to this process.

The conventionality of the depicted objects distracts the viewer’s attention from unnecessary details and details, and the feeling of solitude and isolation from the outside world encourages us to focus on the emotional and spiritual aspects of the image.”
