Lemongrass is an herb that is native to Sri Lanka and South India but GGA is growing it in Armenia!!!! According to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, smelling lemongrass may help people with anxiety. According to an article in the Journal of Advanced Pharmaceutical Technology & Research, consuming lemongrass tea appears to lower cholesterol. Lemongrass tea inhibits bacterial growth. It helps fight bacteria that can cause cavities in the mouth, including S. sanguinis. Lemongrass is able to block pain. This means that drinking lemongrass tea helps alleviate pain! Drinking lemongrass tea infusions daily for 30 days can increase hemoglobin concentration and red blood cell count in the body. Drinking lemongrass tea can have diuretic effects, which means that it stimulates the kidneys to release more urine than usual. So it gets rid of bloating which is one of the major annoying symptoms of PMS(premenstrual symptoms).
So here’s how to drink it daily: Take a teaspoon of GGA Lemongrass shoots and pour 1 cup of boiling water. Cover and let steep for 15 minutes so that all its essential oils and lemony aroma goes wild and your whole room starts to smell like lemony fresh with an oriental twist! ENJOY!

Lemon Melissa leaves collected from the ecologically clean highlands of Armenia. Healthy herbal tea. Ingredients: Mellissa, which has a natural lemon aroma and taste. It has sedative, antistress, antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory properties. Good for women’s health. Regulates sleep, relieves tension, depression and irritability. Strengthens immunity. Restores after stress and fatigue. Contains vitamins C, K and essential oils. Good for high pressure. Removes toxins and bloating from the intestines.
