Hi, I’m glad to see you in my shop. I live in a small and very beautiful country Armenia. I am an interior designer by education, but 10 years ago I got acquainted with the art of felting and it was love at first sight. I found so much new and multifaceted in one material that it became an inexhaustible source of my inspiration. Now I create everything from wool! From designer clothes and accessories to interior decorations, but what brings me most joy and satisfaction is creating unique things for kids.
This whole story was inspired by my children. Anna and Max. When my girl was to be born, I could buy little for her, those were difficult times for me, but once I saw a small, soft blanket in the store. It was yellow with an adorable hippo in the corner. The purchase was expensive, but it was for my girl. I never regretted this purchase, because my daughter literally fell in love with it from the very first day of her life. She was growing and the blanket seemed to grow with her. She was already more than three years old but still could curl up under it into a little ball and sleep peacefully. She grew up and of course I gave all her baby things, but for some reason I could not give away that tiny blanket. I hid it in a cherished box as the first memory of her life. 9 years have passed and my son Max was born. He was noisy and did not sleep well. One of the sleepless nights, I suddenly remembered that blanket and how my daughter loved to bury her nose in to the soft, yellow blanket. I took it out and covered Max and, to my surprise, he took hold of the tail of the blanket with his little fingers ? hands and fell asleep a little later. Now Max is almost 5 but he still does not sleep without his yellow hippo. The blanket became torn with holes here and there, but Max refuses to part with it …
Has it earned its price? Unambiguously… It gave history, memory and feelings that are priceless.
… This is how the first blanket story about an “elephant on a walk” was born, the woolen blanket that I created with my imaginary characters and my own hands. I realized that every baby deserves its own unique story that will grow with them, delight and turn into the first memory of their magical birth.
In my store, I am glad to every kid and for each of them I am eager to create a magical little story that will belong only to them.
