Why It All Started

When the war began between Artsakh – a historically Armenian territory that was populated by ethnic Armenians for hundreds of years, and Azerbaijan, the clear aggressor throughout history, Armenians around the world united to help out in any way they could. 

This was when Lilit and Nishan Odabashians decided to help out the country the best way they knew how – to boost the economy and strengthen the country from within rather than send money.  

And that’s how this Armenian gifts store came to life and thrived and transformed into what it is today – a huge marketplace of products – from small souvenirs to high-end fashion items – you can find it all. Armenian clothes, Armenian jewelry, and even Armenian desserts found their way to the US market and thrived in it.

Where We Are Today

This Armenian store started in 2020 as a Facebook group promoting Armenian culture and tradition and transformed into the marketplace you see today. In the beginning, there were only 300 vendors and 1500 products, and now you can shop for traditional Armenian clothing or any other product from 1500 vendors and 11.000 unique products. 

There have been great strides made in introducing Armenian products to the larger US population. More than 6 BuyArmenian vendors have signed contracts to present their products in such huge US retail chains as TJMaxx and Homegoods.

At last, we have now moved from digital to physical space as well, and are super proud to announce our offline Armenian store launch set to open its doors to customers on the 22nd of June.
