It helps fight bacteria that can cause cavities in the mouth, including S. sanguinis. Lemongrass is able to block pain. This means that drinking lemongrass tea helps alleviate pain! Drinking lemongrass tea infusions daily for 30 days can increase hemoglobin concentration and red blood cell count in the body. Drinking lemongrass tea can have diuretic effects, which means that it stimulates the kidneys to release more urine than usual. So it gets rid of bloating which is one of the major annoying symptoms of PMS(premenstrual symptoms).
